TESTIMONIALS

J truly embodies the key qualities of mindfulness: I felt the quality of her presence. I experienced her non-judgmental, accepting attitude. I felt warmed by her huge, compassionate heart. She readily inspires trust and is easy to be with – very important to trauma survivors like me. Of equal importance is establishing a sense of safety; I felt held and nourished by her facilitation style and way of being. Myself, my family, and my friends all noticed significant changes as the result of having taken the course. My family said I seemed lighter and more at ease with myself. I also found myself outgrowing friendships that I finally realized were no longer serving me. And I felt steadier as I became increasingly inclined to ‘go into the body’ when triggered. This enabled me to respond to triggering situations with greater dignity and integrity as opposed to reacting which would always leave me feeling shame. Overall, I’m grateful to J for facilitating this course and encourage anyone considering it, to not waste another minute thinking about it. Go ahead and enroll – you won’t be disappointed!

The TIMBo program helped me to understand the physical feeling of emotions in my body; & with meditation, yoga and mindful breathing techniques to observe these feelings. I have learned with the help of my facilitator, Janet Vecchia, to be more compassionate to myself as well as others. Her compassion towards me helped me to open up to the experience. I learned to have faith. I now have the tools to use for the rest of my life. The workbook is helpful to look back on as well.

I recently completed my TIMBo group.  I found it to be helpful in many ways.  I feel like I am in better touch with my mind and body because of this experience.  J. Vecchia was a very kind and gentle instructor.  I felt so comfortable opening up to the group because of her warmth and guidance.  She encouraged me by creating a safe place to be authentic.  I would recommend TIMBo to anyone who is seeking a profound self-discovery experience.
